Cindy has always had a passion for helping people and plays an active role in the local community. As a long-term Master Gardener she volunteers at Reston's Lake Anne Community Garden and teaches children of all ages about vegetable gardening by "getting their hands dirty," maintaining a compost pile and observing and understanding the benefits of pollinators in after-school and Summer Camp programs.
Cindy loves entertaining her family and friends by exploring international cuisines and customs, creating mosaics, and walking her dogs on the many wonderful nature trails inNorthern Virginia. She lives in Oakton with her husband Patrick and their two crazy, but loveable dogs: Bear, a Border Collie/Lab rescue and Nola, a BeardedCollie.
